“I've taken many classes through OLLI, this was one of the most outstanding. The presentation, handouts and discussion were superb. It has given me a much better understanding of transgender people. Thank you!!!!!!”

“This class is the best prepared, most clearly presented, well-paced, thorough, with an audience-friendly tone. The presenters should be commended and perhaps their use of time and information should be used as a model for other classes. The information flowed and used a logical sequence. If you asked for stars, I give it five out of five.”

“I cannot recall another OLLI class I've taken in the past 8-9 years that can match this one in the areas of new knowledge AND timeliness.”

“This was one of the best classes I’ve attended. I so appreciate the information that was shared, the journey each presenter experienced, and the kindness of the presenters.”

“I am so excited. I took your Osher class at ASU a few weeks ago. I didn’t quite know what to do with the “transgender ally” sticker. On a whim, I put it on the back of my phone. Now, I am at a conference in Albuquerque and the person next to me is a trans woman who told me three times how she saw the sticker and it made her feel safe! So happy that such a simple thing works for good. Also, I knew to ask what pronouns to use! Thanks so much for a great class.”

“The class was excellent. The instructors were prepared and used informative slides and handouts. The subject is sensitive and handing out index cards and pens for people to ask questions without having to ask openly was very thoughtful. Both instructors were engaging and clearly knowledgeable. I learned so much.”

“This was my first class at OLLI. If the others are as interesting as this one, I have certainly been missing a good thing! I will look for other classes to take!”
